Brian Ganton Jr. inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey

CEDAR GROVE, NJ: The New Jersey Advertising Club recently selected Brian Ganton Jr., President of Brian J. Ganton & Associates (BGA), for induction in The Advertising Hall of Fame of New Jersey. Founded in 1981, this Hall of Fame honors professionals “who have made an outstanding contribution to the creative and/or economic values of advertising, and whose efforts have significantly advanced the status of the advertising profession in New Jersey.” The criteria for selection include eight categories: leadership, creativity, professional integrity, professional history, philanthropy, economic contributions, achievement of national significance and personal involvement in the New Jersey marketing and communications community.

Ganton is the leader of a multidisciplinary branding and advertising firm founded in 1972 by Brian J. Ganton Sr. in New York City and now based in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. His award-winning work spans over 30 years in creating strategic marketing initiatives, brand development and advertising campaigns for a diverse portfolio of businesses, including Dupont, Pergo, Reader’s Digest, Oldcastle, Construction Specialties, International Paper, Rubbermaid, Simon & Schuster and many others. Educated at Seton Hall University and the School of Visual Arts, he is applauded for his role in the community as a business leader, husband and father. All four names will be added to an engraved plaque at the Montclair State University Business School, which will soon display a total of 76 honorees. Former inductees include George H. Gallup, founder of the Gallup Poll, John B. Gambling, host of the longest running radio program and member of the National Radio Hall of Fame, and Thomas J. Ferguson, founder of one of the most successful healthcare advertising agencies in America.
