Seton Hall University Alumni Impact Award

For Immediate Release

CEDAR GROVE, NJ: Mark Ganton, a principal of the multidisciplinary branding and advertising firm of Brian J. Ganton & Associates, was honored for his “extraordinary contributions of time and talent that have greatly advanced the mission of Seton Hall University” at the 26th annual Many Are One Alumni Awards Gala on June 8, 2012, held at the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson in Jersey City, New Jersey. As recipient of the first Alumni Impact Award, Ganton was recognized for his vision, leadership and continued dedication to Seton Hall University. Currently on the Seton Hall Board of Regents, he served as President of the Seton Hall Alumni Association from 2009 to 2011. He recruited and retained a distinguished roster of board members to make important contributions of expertise and resources to the University. In addition to working with others to develop and implement strategies to advance the University’s work, he provided expertise on best practices in marketing and advertising by teaching classes to Seton Hall University students. He also chaired two successful fundraising black-tie events in 2008 and 2009 on behalf of the University and served on the University’s Marketing Advisory Council.

“I am delighted to receive recognition that shines a spotlight on what alumni can do to support Seton Hall University in educating our future leaders,” said Mark Ganton, alumnus of the Class of 1991. “For example, raising money for student scholarships is enormously satisfying to help students during these challenging economic times.” Named as one of New Jersey’s 40 most dynamic business leaders under the age of 40 by NJBIZ, as well as a “Person to Watch” by Graphic Design USA magazine, Ganton has led and managed marketing initiatives, advertising and brand development for a diverse portfolio of businesses, including award-winning work for Construction Specialties, Dupont, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, Pergo, Reader’s Digest and Rubbermaid.
